Working in the SEO field for over a decade I have worked with hundreds of SEO platforms. Because I don’t have time to use all those platforms I now only use a handful to analyze and assist my SEO efforts. In my opinion, without these SEO platforms, you cant audit a website to find issues or research keyword topics without these SEO tools which are now industry standards. The great thing about these SEO platforms is they can be used by experts and beginners. However, the experts will be able to use more sophisticated features that will help you analyze data better.

Whenever I work with large corporations, I get to use some cutting-edge software a platform that typical businesses can’t afford. One SEO software truly amazed me with BrightEdge. Most SEO people have not used BrightEdge because it is meant for very large websites and it is $10,000 per quarter to be able to use it. However, if you have worked with a large corporation especially a fortune 500 company the odds of you using it are high. In my opinion BrightEdge is the best SEO software that money can buy. It is SEMrush and Ahrefs on steroids. Now they have recently updated their platform and they are basically on a different level compared to any SEO software out there.

I get this answer all the time from other SEO experts and every time I ask them what they think about automated SEO software and they always respond with "yes it is bad and good will penalize you." Their opinion is not based on their experience but what they have read on other SEO blogs from people who have never used or understood the automated software. But I am a firm believer that those SEO blog are wrong or they took them out of context. Not all SEO software is bad in fact they make your life and work a lot easier if you know how to use them. But that is just the thing, the reason those SEO experts think automatic SEO software is bad is that they know nothing about them.
